09/2026 - Hilfe für die Flutopfer

Dank unserer nepalesischen Koordinatoren vor Ort, Naran und Chandra, hat in diesen Tagen die erste Hilfsaktion in Kathmandu stattgefunden!

Unsere Hilfe erreichte dabei ganz gezielt 15 Familien aus Gatlang, die für die Bildung ihrer Kinder in Kathmandu leben und durch die Flut ihren Vater bzw. Ehemann verloren haben. Somit sind diese Familien ohne Versorger und stehen nun vor großen Herausforderungen. Mit einem Teil der gesammelten Spenden konnten wir sie mit wichtigen Dingen des täglichen Lebens, wie z.B. Linsen, Reis, Eier, Öl, Hygieneartikeln, sowie Schulmaterial und Trinkflaschen für die Kinder versorgen. Die Begegnungen waren sehr bewegend und emotional herausfordernd und doch eine große Hilfe für die Frauen in dieser Not, die ihr Schicksal noch gar nicht fassen können.

Gut, dass unsere Unterstützung dank Chandra und Naran bei den Menschen vor Ort genau dort ankommt, wo sie dringend gebraucht wird.

Thanks to our local coordinators in Nepal, Naran and Chandra, the first aid operation in Kathmandu took place just recently!

Our aid was specifically targeted at 15 families from Gatlang who live in Kathmandu for their children's education and who lost their fathers or husbands in the floods. These families are now left without a breadwinner and face immense challenges. Using a portion of the donations we collected, we were able to provide them with essential daily supplies—such as lentils, rice, eggs, cooking oil, and hygiene products—as well as school supplies and water bottles for the children. The encounters were deeply moving and emotionally challenging, yet they offered vital support to these women in their time of need—women who are still struggling to come to terms with their tragic fate.

It is heartening to know that, thanks to Chandra and Naran, our support reaches the people on the ground exactly where it is needed most.
